Sam Pinner is a partner in the NW School of Freeride. Sam is the Director of Terrain Development and is an award winning IMBA recognized Trail Builder. He manages all the dirt, builders and designs for the NWSOF venue. Utilizing over 20 years of construction management experience, Sam has designed and built trails all over North America including contracts in Canada and has worked with such reputable trail builders as Jay Hoots and IMBA’s Jason Wells. Sam facilitated the growth of the now famous, Central Oregon Trail Alliance and spear headed the Central Oregon and Winter Park, CO Freeride movements. Sam continues to be an advocate for the cycling community, working with the National Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and local trail organizations to design and build trails.
